Dancing with live drums (Bateria) is essential to learning the art of Samba no pé with musicality and authenticity.  In Brasil, Samba is danced predominantly to live music (live drums and live bands) and the feeling and connection is like no other.

Our workshops with Bateria are aimed at teaching students how get comfortable and confident dancing with live instruments. Learn about the roles of the various instruments and how to connect to the live drums and rhythms with solid timing, musicality and feeling. Workshops also include technique and drills for parading, combos, freestyle and resistençia (endurance).

We offer Dance with Bateria workshops for Beginners - Improvers and Intermediate to Advanced levels.
